Digitally Interactive Social Media Campaign for VIA
Collaborators: Ainsely Abbitt, Clara Campbell, Katelyn McCrady, Sophie Wright

The Client
This project was for the nonprofit Vally Interfaith Action [VIA], their mission is to build relationships among people of different backgrounds and positively impact the community.
The Objective
This project aimed to create a digitally interactive piece for VIA’s social platforms (Instagram & Facebook).

Concepting
The brainstorming process included research, writing a creative brief, sketches, and much deliberation with group members to create our big idea. Our team faced many struggles in finding a clear, cohesive idea, many rough drafts were crafted before we figured out how to combine VIA with the social media world.
The Big Idea
When we finally found our big idea it was to go beyond an interaction on social media and to create a physical scavenger hunt for community members. The scavenger hunt consisted of physical location pin markers around the community with QR codes on them which linked to a website of questions. Then users answer a question by posting their response with a photo of the location pin on social media and either tagging VIA or using the ‘add yours’ feature on stories. This interaction gives them the chance to win free VIA merch!
